Inquiries made on this website are handled by the NAEBA Referral Service, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the National Association of Exclusive Buyer Agents. The NAEBA Referral Service, Inc. is a licensed real estate brokerage in the State of Arizona, license number CO656331000. Real estate agents/brokers must apply to become a member of the National Association of Exclusive Buyer Agents, which involves completing detailed applications and passing our screening process. Brokers who are not members of the National Association of Exclusive Buyer Agents but wishing to be part of the NAEBA Referral Service, Inc. must also complete an agreement and pass our screening process. Our staff is dedicated to the initial screening and continued monitoring of member brokers, which includes, but is not limited to:
- Verifying that brokers' licenses are current and in good standing and not currently subject to disciplinary action
- Requiring that NAEBA members do not have any listings and that non-NAEBA members provide the highest level of representation possible
- Surveying past clients and checking online review sites on an ongoing basis to assure the highest level of satisfaction and services
Once brokers/agents pass our screening requirements they are added to our database at no charge. If a buyer referred to the broker/agent closes on a property, the broker/agent has agreed to pay a fee upon closing. These types of referral fees are standard in the real estate industry and the fee paid to the NAEBA Referral Service, Inc., a licensed Arizona Real Estate brokerage is not only one of the lowest in the industry, any profits made by the NAEBA Referral Service, Inc. are paid to the National Association of Exclusive Buyer Agents in order to continue their nonprofit work of protecting home buying consumers. While the brokers/agents pay a fee, the service is completely free to consumers.
Brokers/agents may be removed from our database if after investigation of a complaint, it is found that they have failed to uphold our high standards.
Neither the National Association of Exclusive Buyer Agents nor the NAEBA Referral Service, Inc. dictates participating brokers'/agents' fees. We recommend that services expected as well as fees for said services are discussed with each individual broker/agent prior to retaining their services so that comparisons can be made. As in all industries, services and representation offered as well as fees charged for said services vary from business to business and even agent to agent. NAEBA members do promise to provide the highest level of fiduciary duties available and to abide by NAEBA's Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
We respect consumers' right to privacy so consumer information is kept confidential except as listed here or as required by law. Consumers who call us or visit our website are asked to provide information to allow the NAEBA Referral Service, Inc. to provide a list of brokers/agents who best match their needs. Contact information will be provided only to those brokers/agents who meet their criteria. Neither the National Association of Exclusive Buyer Agents nor the NAEBA Referral Service, Inc. provides this information to third parties except for those brokers/agents mentioned previously. By providing this information, the consumer gives the National Association of Exclusive Buyer Agents (NAEBA) and/or the NAEBA Referral Service, Inc. (NRSI) permission to provide said information to those brokers/agents solely for the purpose of their home purchase; for the brokers/agents to contact them by phone, email, text and/or mail; for NAEBA and/or NRSI to contact them by phone, email, text and/or mail; and for participating brokers to provide information to NRSI about the property purchased such as the address and sales price unless specifically requested in writing not to do so.
